Workbridge Counselling Service delivers services aimed at preparing clients to successfully participate with their Job Services provider. Interventions are short term and focused at identifying, and removing or reducing barriers preventing Job Seekers from engaging in work. These services are delivered by fully professional staff and include counselling sessions designed to assist Job Seekers to cope with issues including:
• Lack of vocational direction
• Low motivation and ambivalence
• Personal development
• Mild drug and alcohol abuse
• Relationships and family difficulties
• Grief and loss
• Workshops
• Prepare for work
We provide in house training sessions for staff, small groups and clients tailored to meet their needs.
